My Desiderio

I am originally from Rome, Italy. There I worked at my parents restaurant doing deserts and breads.

I soon become strongly passioned about baking and especially restaurant pastries and desserts making.

I worked as caterer and as a pastry chef in Rome. Chocolate was not my main speciality back then

and was only after I moved to Colorado, many years after that first restaurant gig, that I discovered the magical

and senxual world of Chocolate. Working with Chocolate is the best way for me to express my creativity

and passion for the sweet world of pastry.

Literally my Desire  is to create delightful sweet creations, bathed in pure Venezuelan chocolate,

free from all the clutter that most commercial chocolates and candy are loaded with.

My passion, my credo and all my knowledge and attention, go into my creations.

I like to choose fresh, local and organic ingredients whenever is possible.

I use exclusively Venezuelan chocolate.

After many tastings (hard work I know! pheww), I have found that the taste, texture, overal flavor and workability,

suited my style and creativity the best.

I enjoy playing  with different  ingredients while keeping the balance in flavors.

The true is,  I make chocolates I enjoy eating.

I hope you will enjoy the simplicity and yet the complexicity of my confections, as they represent my way to

combine the two worlds I live in, traditional Italian and modern American.

I currently live in Colorado with my family, I work full time and make chocolates part time. Hopefully one day I will be able to have my own boutique.
